Which services are included if I hire Al Cielo Hotel's Wedding Coordination services?
When hiring our services, we will take charge of the reservation, coordination and supervision of the following services:

- Lightning (exterior and interior)

I'd like to coordinate my wedding all by myself and only rent Al Cielo Hotel facilities and catering services. Is that doable?
Yes. If you are a Bride living in the area, you may naturally want to use your personal contacts for your wedding day, such as your favorite local florist, your DJ friend, your aunt making delicious cakes etc…No worries! Al Cielo Hotel is flexible and will be glad to hear your ideas.
I'd like to have my wedding in Al Cielo Hotel, but hire another local wedding planner? Is that possible?
Al Cielo Hotel allows few external wedding planners to work with our clients. Your wedding coordinator must first have an appointment with us to discuss our conditions and requirements. After AL CIELO's Direction approval, the external wedding planner will be the link between Al Cielo Hotel and the Bride. All information will be exclusively given and received thru the wedding planner. Al Cielo Hotel will have no contact with the bride or groom. Please consider prices might be also different.
Why the Civil Package is more expensive than the others?
A civil wedding in Mexico requires special paperwork, as well as government fees, blood tests, medical certificates, document translations and getting appointments with the Civil Judge, etc… Our Civil Package includes already those expenses plus we offer you our personal bilingual assistance at no extra charge. You can always decide to handle this process by yourself, in that case please deduct $1000.00 from your civil wedding ceremony package.
Do you offer buffet style catering?
No
I like your menus but would like to switch some dishes between available menus. Is it possible?
Yes. Only one menu can be chosen for the whole event. Menus modifications are possible with a revision of price.
Do you make wedding cakes?
No. Your coordinator will take charge of ordering the cake from a local bakery.
I would like to try the quality of your food. Do you offer menu tastings?
Yes. You just need to write us an email at least 5 days prior to your visit and indicate which menu you would like to try. Food tastings are available from Monday - Friday at 1:00 pm and have a $65.00 charge per person + 10% service charge. If you decide having your wedding with us, Al Cielo Hotel will credit your final wedding bill with a refund for your food tasting.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. Corkage is permitted only when bringing champagne at a $20.00 charge per bottle opened. We highly recommend the open bar option (min 3 hrs service) as it tends to be the cheapest, with no restrictions regarding drinks for your guests. We will need to know for how many hours do you want this service to be run and its starting time. Any drink served out of the open bar hours agreement will go to an open tab that should be paid in cash at the end of the event
Do you accept credit cards?
No. We accept cash and traveler checks in Mexican Pesos, US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Pounds and Euros
Do you offer a dance floor area?
Yes. Parties smaller than 60 guests will have a covered dance floor area located right next to the dinner area. Parties bigger than 60 must set a dance floor area on the beach, in front of the dinner area, at your own expenses.
What happens in case of rain?
Al Cielo Hotel's ceremonies are celebrated in the open air. If you would like to prevent any inconvenience caused by rain, we suggest you to consider a tent rental.
What about hurricanes?
There are no refunds due to bad weather or hurricanes; including any inconvenience or complication caused by a hurricane's direct hit, near miss, or significant threat of a hurricane strike. Hurricanes, rain and bad weather are by nature unpredictable
What about insurance?
If you would like to contract insurance for your event, we suggest do it in your home country as local companies unfortunately don't offer event insurance options.
