Xpu-Ha Beach is located just 15 miles (25 km) south of Playa del Carmen on the Riviera Maya / Mayan Riviera and 73 miles (80 km) south from the Cancun International Airport.

Directions to Xpu-Ha Beach From Cancun

It takes approximately 1 hour to drive from Cancun's airport to Al Cielo Hotel. Upon leaving Cancun's airport take Federal Highway 307 following the sign marked Chetumal or Tulum. Along the way you will find gas stations at Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Xpu-ha. After approximately 80 km you will see Catalonia Royal Tulum resort on the left hand side of the road. You will need to drive a little further and make a U-turn just right after Xpu Ha Pemex Gas Station. Drive a short distance. Turn down the previous entrance from Hotel Esencia ( AL CIELO has a small banner for the hotel), and follow it to the beach where it ends. You will have reached Al Cielo Hotel which is right on the beach.

Directions to Xpu-Ha Beach From Playa del Carmen

Take the Cancun-Tulum Highway south from Playa del Carmen. You will go past the Puerto Aventuras Resort. You will see Catalonia Royal Tulum resort on the left hand side of the road. You will need to drive a little further and make a U-turn just right after Xpu Ha Pemex Gas Station. Drive a short distance. Turn down the previous entrance from Hotel Esencia ( AL CIELO has a small banner for the hotel), and follow it to the beach where it ends. You will have reached Al Cielo Hotel which is right on the beach.

Directions to Xpu-Ha Beach From Tulum

We are located inside Xpu-Ha bay. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from Tulum to Al Cielo Hotel. Upon leaving TULUM turn right (north) onto Highway 307 following the sign marked CANCUN. There are gas stations along the way at Tulum's exit and then Xpuha Bay. After approximately 30 km, you will pass AKUMAL and 5km later you will see the Catalonia Royal Tulum Hotel. The entrance to Al Cielo Hotel (it has a small banner for the hotel) is 300 meters right after Catalonia's entrance. It is the first driveway right before the driveway from Hotel ESENCIA, always on the right hand side of the road. Turn down the previous entrance from Hotel Esencia , and follow it to the beach where it ends. You will have reached Al Cielo Hotel which is right on the beach.
